Hosted by Lakewood Yacht Club, along with J/Boats Southwest, the J/Fest Southwest Regatta is celebrating its 13th Anniversary and is a popular tradition among the J/Boat owners throughout the region with a lineup of over 50 J/Boats and avid competitors from around the country.
The sea breeze and moderate climate along the Texas Gulf coast provides ideal conditions for skippers and crew to display their racing prowess and affords spectators an appreciation of autumn racing, which most of the country does not get to enjoy.
Our sponsors help make this a premier fall event each year. Lakewood Yacht Club, with its host of member volunteers, not only manages the race, but also provides post-event festivities including live entertainment, a Cajun shrimp boil, and great drink specials.
Located about halfway between Houston and Galveston, Seabrook and its surrounding area offer an array of activities for families to enjoy. The Space Center Houston, the Kemah Boardwalk, Armand Bayou Nature Center, the Seabrook walking trails and San Jacinto Monument and Battleground are all just minutes away.
